Challenger's British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the USA and Canada. Over 90,000 boys and girls will learn the "Challenger Way" at some 1900 British Soccer Camps this summer. British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts.
Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership.
Camp programs include a free ball and shirt and a free British Soccer jersey for on line registrations 45 days prior to camp! Here's some of what you can expect:
The Macon County Soccer Club board of directors will be holding their annual meeting on Thursday, February 12th at 7:00pm at the Macon County Community Building. Anyone who is interested is invited to attend. The board will be discussing plans for the upcoming year and voting in new boards members. Several vacancies exist currently in the board. The Macon County Soccer Club will host an Entry Level Grade 08 Referee Certification Clinic on Sunday, January 18th and 25th from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Both sessions must be attended and no late arrivals or early departures are permitted. George Gately with the NC Soccer Referees Association will be conducting the clinic. The cost for the clinic is $67.00 and payment is due January 18th at registration (checks payable to NCSRA). Lunch will be available for $5 (or bring your own). The Macon County Soccer Club will host a soccer referee re-certification clinic on Saturday, December 13th from 9:00am to 3:30pm. All currently certified referees that wish to renew their certification are invited to attend. George Gately with the NC Soccer Referees Association will be conducting the clinic.
