Summer is starting to wind down. That means that fall soccer is gearing up. Final preparations to the fields are being made and teams are starting to practice. Round Robin games will be help on Sunday, August 23rd. The full schedule is still being completed and should be published soon. In the mean time, the rough schedule below shows the starts times for the various age groups. Note: U7, U6, and U5 teams will not participate in Round Robins games. They will begin playing games on August 30th.

U9, U11 and U14 Round Robin start times

The Macon County Soccer Club has extended the registration deadline for the Fall soccer season. The final registration date will be Tuesday, July 28th from 6 pm - 8 pm at the Macon County Community Building and the Highlands Recreation Park. Parents are encouraged to print out the registration form online and bring it with them to the registration.

Children age 4 and up are welcome and will be placed on teams according to age. The registration fee is $60 for players and a $5 discount is available for siblings. The registration fee covers uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), state registration and referee fees. All new players must provide a photocopy of their birth certificate.

The deadline for registration for the Fall season is July 28th. Registrations received after July 28th will incur a $10.00 late fee and players will be placed on a wait list. Every effort will be made to place late registrants on a team. However, we cannot guarantee placement on a team before the first game.

British Soccer coaches from Challenger Sports, in association with the Macon County Soccer Club, will be holding a coaches clinic on Tuesday, July 7th at 6pm. The coaches clinic will be held at the Industrial Park soccer fields and is open to coaches of all age groups. There is no charge, so if you are interested in coaching any age group, plan on attending. This is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best.
