Marlene Lane with Creative Images Photography will be taking pictures again this spring and a portion of every package sold will go directly to the Macon County Soccer Club. You can print out the picture order form to see the various packages and options that are available. Please plan to be there at your assigned time even if you do not plan on purchasing pictures so that a complete team picture can be taken. Review the team picture schedule for a complete listing of assigned times.
The Macon County Soccer club will hold a referee meeting for the Spring recreation league on Sunday, March 28th at 2pm. The meeting will be held at the Industrial Park soccer fields by the concession stand. At this brief meeting referees will receive schedules and materials. All of last years referees need to attend. Anyone interested in refereeing and upcoming referee courses should also attend. For more information contact the MCSC Referee Assignor.
The cold weather is starting to subside and the trees are starting to bud. Spring is almost here. Final preparations are being made to the soccer fields and games are scheduled to begin on April 11th. All coaches met this week to receive their rosters and equipment. Your child's coach should contact you very soon. If you do not hear from your coach by Monday, March 22nd, contact the coaching coordinator and they'll help you out.

The Macon County Soccer Club will begin accepting registrations for the Spring soccer season on Saturday, February 13th from 10 am - 2 pm at the Macon County Community Building in Franklin and at the Highlands Recreation Park in Highlands. Parents are encouraged to print out the registration form online and bring it with them to the registration. Registration forms are also available at the Highlands Recreation Park and can be filled out anytime during regular Rec Park hours.
Children age 4 and up are welcome and will be placed on teams according to age. The registration fee is $50 for players returning from the fall season and $60 for new registrations. The registration fee covers uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), state registration and referee fees. A $5 discount is available for siblings. All new players must provide a photocopy of their birth certificate.
The deadline for registering for the Spring season is February 27th. Registrations received after February 27th will incur a $10.00 late fee and players will be placed on a wait list. Every effort will be made to place late registrants on a team. However, we cannot guarantee placement on a team before the first game.
