The Macon County Soccer Club Challenge League will be holding tryouts for several teams to play in the Western North Carolina Challenge League. Bring a birth certificate copy and a refundable $50 to the tryouts. The total cost for the fall season will be $150. The cost covers uniforms, referee fees, backpack, and state registration fees.
Age groups for the fall will include U16 girls, U14 girls, U12 girls, U12 boys, and U10 boys. Each team will play 4 home games in Franklin and 4 away games in the WNC area. Teams will be formed depending on player interest, coach availability, and available divisions in the Western North Carolina Challenge League. For more information contact Tony Esterwood at 524-1928.
Just in time for the Spring Soccer season, the Macon County Soccer Club is launching a totally redesigned website.
The new website, designed by TNC Designs, gives the MCSC a greater presence on the internet as well as providing a platform for news and information about the Macon County Soccer Club.
Our goal is to provide visitors with up to date information on club news, game schedules, weather cancellations, and stats. We also want to provide coaches and parents with information on how to make the Macon County Soccer Club even better.

In preparation for the Spring Soccer season, MCSC will be holding a workday on Saturday, March 22nd at 10am. We will lay out fields, weed eat the entrance bank and around the bleachers, pick up sticks and debris to prepare for mowing, clean out storage buildings and mow. We would be grateful to anyone that is willing to come lend a hand.

Spring soccer coaches will have their first meeting on Sunday, March 9th at the soccer fields. Please try to attend if at all possible. Coaches will receive their roster at the meeting and will select their practice times and fields. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Balog.
