Made approximately $251.00 profit from the fall season.

Challenge:

Now have six teams for this spring season.  Ten home game dates with twenty-four home games in all. Plan to put pictures in paper to help promote the Challenge League.

There will be a referee clinic at the end of February to hopefully have more people available to ref games. Matt Maple and Matt Bullis will look into a place for the class to be held.

Soccer Camp:

Camp will be held July 10-14th this year.  Will have morning and all day session, no evening sessions this year.  Other camps to be aware of:  WCU camp, July 24-28th, and WCU elite camp July 29-August 8th.

Landscaping Developing Group came and looked at the pump.  Gave a bid of $1,985.00 to put a filtration system on our pump.  Also gave bids for a sprinkler system on the fields close to the baseball field, $14,000 and for the large field, $10,500.  Matt to approach Parks and Recreation to pay for the filtration system ($1,985.00).  Before putting in the new systems need to get grading done on the fields.  MCSC to be responsible for the grading of the fields, the possibly get the county to help with the costs of the new systems by putting it into next year’s budget.  Matt will confirm that sprinkler heads are included in the filtration system upgrade.

Next month’s meeting will be an open meeting at the community building, and will follow spring registration.

Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
