Board Meeting Minutes

April 10th, 2008 

Members who attended were: Frank Cline, Michelle Thornton, Chris Thornton, Deanne Opperman, Tim McSween, Candy McSween, Guy Gooder, Tony Esterwood, Christy Weller, Sonali Jailwala, Janet Pruitt, and Charlena Cline

Meeting

Deanne Opperman checked on picture prices and amounts that each photographer would donate back to the soccer club for Spring soccer pictures. The Board discussed the different photographers and what each one offered and decided to go with Marlene Lane. Janet Pruitt made a motion and Deanne Opperman second the motion.

The board discussed the option of registering online and agreed to do this. They decided that Pay Pal was the best company to process credit cards. Guy Gooder made a motion and Chris second the motion.

Tony Esterwood handed out Bi-Lo forms for people to get Bi-Lo cards. The soccer club can get 1% donated back to them when people use their cards.

We discussed to purchase a portable pump and some different prices. They agreed to purchase it. There will be 1/3 of the cost for the portable pump and its accessories taken out of each of the following accounts: fields, recreation and challenge.. Chris Thornton made a motion and Guy Gooder second the motion.

This summer, July 7-11, we will have the British Soccer Camp again. There are different prices depending on age and length of time.

The Challenge Bank Account had $5,359.37, the Recreation Bank Account had $3,937.64, and the Fields Bank Account had $2,097.58.

We will have early bird sign-ups for fall recreation soccer on Sunday, June 1, 2008.

The challenge soccer tryouts will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008 and Thursday, May 22, 2008. The cost for challenge is $150.00.
