June 7th is the Final Evaluation Day for Macon County Soccer Academy - Don't Miss Out!

The Macon County Soccer Club will conduct our final evaluations for the Academy program for the Fall/Spring 2015-2016 year, on Sunday, June 7th. Boys and girls born between August 2005 and July 2008 are invited to attend.

Did you notice that the sign-ups for this program are taking place three months before the first games? We won't start practices until school starts in the fall - so you'll still have the summer free.

The coaches and program organizers use the summer months to get equipment, uniforms, sponsors, and to plan schedules with neighboring clubs. Our player rosters will be complete by the time school is out in a couple of weeks - and we don't plan to accept any new players after this evaluation cycle.

If you're interested but undecided, come out to the evaluation day on Sunday. We require a refundable $25 deposit with your registration. You can take until June 20th to get more information, and you may request a refund if you decide not to participate.

On Sunday, Bring water, shorts and t-shirt, shin guards, and a refundable $25 deposit for application. If your player is not registered with Macon County Soccer, please bring a copy of his or her birth certificate.

This is the registration calendar.

The Academy program offers advanced training for players who are dedicated to soccer as their sport of choice, and a higher level of skill compared to the Rec league. Like the Rec league, all players play at least 50% game time on match days. Games are played at home against other teams formed from the Academy pool, and home/away against other regional Academy programs.

The annual cost for the Jr. Academy program is $165, and the annual cost for the Academy program is $235. This includes uniforms and all fees for both Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 seasons. Limited financial assistance will be available.

For more information about the Academy program, please see our FAQ page, or contact Michael Moorman at (828) 421-8933.
